Gourmet Mushroom CSA
Announcing a brand-new CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program for Reno.
Join our mushroom CSA program and get our fresh, local, gourmet oyster or shiitake mushrooms delivered to your door. We are currently offering deliveries on Thursday every other week, all year long.
Our mushrooms are grown on 100% certified organic substrate. We don’t have organic certification yet for Mountain Mushrooms, so we can’t simply call them “organic,” though the whole operation is in fact “organic.” We’re in the process now of getting certified.
Your share is a recurring up-front monthly payment,
which gets you 4 home deliveries, that’s 1 delivery every other week for 8 weeks.
Additionally, there is a $20 one-time charge when you begin your share,
which pays for two cooler bags with our logo printed on them.
We will deliver your share in one of those cooler bags each week, and pick up the other bag from you at the same time (which is the empty bag we delivered to you the previous week). You don’t have to be there, you just have to leave the bag out for us to make the exchange. If you ever decide to quit your share in the CSA (what?? Who could ever imagine such a thing??!), you get to keep the cooler bags. If you know you will be gone and can’t take the mushrooms one week, let your friends eat them!, or, we can give you credit towards a later delivery date.
